It is obvious that kids go to school with mixed emotions. On one side, some of them can be super thrilled to meet new friends and enjoy every lesson. On the other side, they can get very anxious and upset with the new environment. Parents are always worried about how their child would cope in the first few weeks of schools, until they fall into the routine and start enjoying school. The feelings of parents will get reflected in the child. Positive parents usually prefer their child to see school as a fun place and recognise the vibrations of going to school. They usually help their child get ready for new environment by buying school clothes for them, practicing the routine of going to school, practicing self-reliance or even teaching them how to write and read.
Has your child turned to the age of attending school?

Choosing school clothes for kids
Besides school uniform that children are compelled to wear, they usually desire their parents to buy new clothes for them. Clothes for school must be comforable and easily dressing since kids are active at school. For girls, mum can choose A-line appliqued dress, whilst for boys, she can choose appliqued boy longall. These two type of clothes for girls and boys are comfy for your kids.
2. Practicing the routine of going to school
You know how school mornings are! No matter whether you are a mom who stays at home or goes to work, this morning routine would cause a haste. The hurried brushing of teeth, bathing and dressing, the gobbling of breakfast and then the mad dash for the school bus. It is not possible to gel in with this routine from day one. So start with this routine a week before school starts. This would help even older children, especially if they have the tendency to oversleep.
3. Practicing Self-reliance
Children enjoy going to school because it makes them feel grown up. But teaching self-reliance is also important even if the teacher is there in the class. Simple things like tying shoe laces, clipping hair in place, putting the books and water bottle in the school bag and so on.
Teachers might be there to help, but that might snatch time away from teaching. Especially, if she has to cater to all the students in the class. While teaching self-reliance, you can also teach your child to stand for themselves, for others and against bullying.
4. Teaching them how to write and read
Get your child to read good books and read them aloud with him. Reading to your child will improve his vocabulary too. There are plenty of school-related books like Kindergarten Rocks by Katie Davis, On the Way to Kindergarten by Virginia Kroll and I Love School by Philemon Sturges. You can also let them watch “Wheel on the bus” video to have an overview of what it is like as traveling to school
Since every kids need to attend school, make sure they are prepared for it. Buy new clothes for them as it can comfort and encourage them to go to school. You need to make sure they are emotionally stable and have the confidence to communicate and handle minor issues.
